2017 Amelia Island Concours
Join us to celebrate some of the finest cars in the country at the Concours d’Elegance of America from July 29-31 at the Inn at St. Johns in Plymouth, Michigan.
Originally a competition of elegance and beauty of horse drawn carriages in France, Concours d’Elegance evolved into similar competitions for automobiles. Automobile manufacturers, coach builders, designers, and owners all tried to outdo each other in design, craftsmanship, beauty, and status at these events. As a result, the most spectacular and important automobiles have participated in Concours from the early part of the 20th century to today.
The Concours d’Elegance of America originated at Oakland University’s Meadow Brook Hall, the historic home of Matilda Dodge Wilson, widow of automotive pioneer John Dodge. In 2011 this world-class event moved to the beautiful grounds of the Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, Michigan. What was once a one day show is now an esteemed lifestyle event with many activities throughout the weekend.
