As a believer in the Buckingham Land Preservation Fund, Ltd, Grundy Worldwide has sponsored the Buckingham Township Concours d'Elegance event since its inaugural year.
In a letter from Al Pincus, the event's chairman, to Jim Grundy, president of Grundy Worldwide, Grundy was thanked for "being a superior citizen" through his involvement in the event which donates its proceeds to help purchase farmer's development rights, thereby saving farm and open space in Buckingham Township, Pennsylvania.
"There are approximately 3,800 acres yet to be saved. We hope to help them reach this goal, thus resulting in no further home building projects, saving the land, open space and preserving the school tax at a reasonable rate," wrote Pincus.
The 2007 event led to a $100,000 donation this year.
"You can be proud of the fact that it could not be done without your continued support," wrote Pincus in his letter to Grundy.
