Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) and Grundy Insurance are pleased to announce the renewal of their collector vehicle insurance partnership that first began in 2006. Under the new agreement, Grundy will provide underwriting, customer service, policy/endorsement processing and marketing for Grundy Worldwide while PHLY will handle billing and claims. Grundy Worldwide, a PHLY company, offers specialized Automobile Liability and Physical Damage insurance for over 1,000 models of antique and collector cars in all 50 states.

“It was important to continue our relationship with PHLY in order to provide our customers with the best possible service and coverage,” said Jim Grundy, President of Grundy Insurance. “For over 50 years, we have provided coverage to those who are passionate about collector vehicles. Working with PHLY allows us to expand our expertise and industry-leading services to all customers.”

In 48 states, PHLY has imposed a "non-compete" on Grundy Insurance at the current time, which prohibits us from writing new Collector-Car-Only policies. We hope that in the future, the non-compete is reversed, rescinded or expired. Until that time, we can insure collector vehicles, but only in conjunction with other policies.
