The Greater Chicago Classic Chevy Club: "Est. in 1979, the purpose of the corporation is to establish an association of members for the purpose of encouraging restoration and/or preservation of Chevrolet automobiles. The Greater Chicago Classic Chevy Club is affiliated with Eckler's Classic Chevy International and serves as a local chapter."
Midwest Street Rod Association of Illinois: "Street Rod Club for pre-1949 vehicles. The MSRA of IL was founded in 1969 by a handful of Chicago area street rod and custom car enthusiasts. Today that handful has grown to over 100 members with several of the original guys still very active."
